Who Said Sex Wasn't Important?

Some say that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, but what happens when the kitchen is as far as the steam goes? How do you heat up the bedroom, when the fire is gone?

I polled Facebook to get some feedback on this. I wanted to see if sex really did make or break a relationship if you cared deeply for your mate, the answer… yes and no. Interesting. I received a variety of answers, most claiming that they would be willing to work with their significant other. However, I guess my question was meant to go beyond that… What happens when you have tried everything, but you’re still sexually incompatible?

While my friends on FB may not want to admit it, I do believe that one of the top reasons a man and woman will cheat, is because of sex, or lack thereof. Sure, you may disguise it as something else, but if you cannot be sexually satisfied, eventually, most people are going to stray. This does not mean that the person does not truly love their mate. Of course, that statement (in itself) is controversial. You’re probably thinking… how can you love someone that you would cheat on? Simple… human contact/ affection is necessary, period. If you cannot satisfy your mate, they will get it from someplace else. Do I agree with it? No, but I understand.

My advice, go back to romance… use your imagination, and never underestimate the power of communication. Talk about your issues so that they can be resolved. It is impossible to fix something if you don’t know it is broken.
